The Eagles Club North Vancouver was delighted to once again welcome the Cops for Cancer Tour de Coast riders and support team for lunch during their 2026 ride.
This marked the eleventh year the Eagles have welcomed the Tour, continuing a tradition that brings our members together in support of an extraordinary cause.
Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 2638 Northwest was proud to present the Cops for Cancer Tour de Coast with a cheque for $1,000 during their visit to the club.
Cops for Cancer raises funds to support children and families affected by cancer and programs including Camp Good Times.
Riders, police officers, support crew and Eagles members gathered at the club for lunch, a chance to recharge and enjoy some well-earned hospitality before continuing the Tour.
A few moments from this year's visit and cheque presentation.
After lunch, the riders headed back out from the Eagles Club with their police escort to continue the Tour de Coast.
A special thank you to Tami-Lynn Mathison, Trustee Bob Fortin and Trustee Brad McCormick for all their work preparing the room and providing lunch for our guests.
We would also like to recognize our Secretary, Lyle Hammerstrom, whose generosity and support helped make our contribution to the Cops for Cancer Tour de Coast possible.
Thank you as well to the riders, police officers, volunteers, support crew and Eagles members who helped make the 2026 visit another memorable one.
We look forward to welcoming the Tour back again.
